The Windows Licenses category brings together Microsoft's current and previous-generation operating system licences in one place. Whether you're setting up a new PC, doing a clean install after a format, or moving from Home to Pro, you'll find Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Home and Windows 11 Pro options here, suited to both individual users and businesses. Every key is genuine, activated directly through Microsoft's servers, and invoiced.
Older hardware that can't meet Windows 11's requirements, or systems still tied to legacy software, aren't left out either — Windows 7 licences and Windows 8 licences remain available as legitimate options for that use case.
The first decision is edition: Windows Home covers everyday use, gaming and general browsing perfectly well, while Windows Pro adds BitLocker disk encryption, Remote Desktop, Hyper-V virtualisation and domain-join support for business and professional environments. The second decision is generation — if your hardware supports TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, go with a current Windows 11 licence; if not, Windows 10 licences remain the practical choice. Our Windows 11 Pro vs Home comparison walks through the feature gap in detail.
If you're already running Home and find you need Pro's features, you don't need to reinstall anything — the Home to Pro upgrade keys available in the Windows 10 and Windows 11 subcategories convert an existing installation without a format. Keep in mind these upgrade keys don't licence Windows on their own; a separate Pro licence is still required after the upgrade, and the key must be redeemed within 1 day of delivery.
The same Windows edition can be sold under different licence types at different price points — the operating system and features are identical either way. Here's how the three compare:
| Feature | OEM | MAK (Key) | Retail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tied to hardware | Permanently bound to the motherboard | Not permanently bound to a device | Can be linked to your Microsoft account |
| After a format | Reactivates automatically on the same PC | May require reactivation | Reactivates with the same key |
| Transferable to another PC | No | Not guaranteed | Yes |
| Best for | Long-term use on one machine | Budget-conscious buyers | Anyone planning to upgrade hardware later |
For a deeper breakdown, see our OEM vs Retail licence guide and why Windows licences sell at such different prices.
Once installed, you can check activation status under Settings > System > Activation, where you'll see a confirmation that Windows is activated. Every key sold through Karınca Lisans is registered in Microsoft's own database, so you won't hit an error at activation. If you link a Retail licence to your Microsoft account, you can reactivate it under the same account even after a hardware change — a step that OEM and MAK keys don't need or support.
We also serve businesses and IT teams rolling out Windows across multiple machines at once — each key is genuine and invoiced individually, and the same guarantee applies to bulk orders. If you want help settling on a consistent edition and licence type across your fleet before ordering, our WhatsApp support team can point you in the right direction.
Most people setting up a new PC need office software next — once Windows is activated, our Office Licenses category covers Word, Excel and PowerPoint bundles to match. If the machine will stay connected to the internet, we'd also recommend picking up a current antivirus licence right after setup — that extra layer matters even more on editions whose official support has already ended.
Microsoft ended free security updates for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. That doesn't invalidate anything you buy here: a Windows 10 licence remains valid for the lifetime of the installation and the system keeps activating and running normally — it simply stops receiving new security patches. For hardware that can't move to Windows 11, Windows 10 is still a legitimate choice today. If you're weighing your options, our Windows 10 end-of-support guide covers the practical path forward.
Every Windows key sold here is genuine, activates directly through Microsoft's own servers, and comes with an invoice on every order. After payment confirmation, delivery typically lands in your inbox within 1–90 minutes, and our WhatsApp support team is available if you run into anything during installation or activation.
