How can I tell my Windows licence is genuine?

Once installed, you can check activation status under Settings > System > Activation, where you'll see a confirmation that Windows is activated. Every key sold through Karınca Lisans is registered in Microsoft's own database, so you won't hit an error at activation. If you link a Retail licence to your Microsoft account, you can reactivate it under the same account even after a hardware change — a step that OEM and MAK keys don't need or support.

Microsoft ended free security updates for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. That doesn't invalidate anything you buy here: a Windows 10 licence remains valid for the lifetime of the installation and the system keeps activating and running normally — it simply stops receiving new security patches.
