Cookie Policy
karincalisans.com ("Site") uses cookies and similar technologies to give you a better experience and to measure how the site is used. This policy explains which cookies we use and why, how long we keep them, and how to change your preference. For general principles on processing your personal data, see our Privacy Policy and Privacy Notice.
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They keep your session open, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used.
2. How Consent Works
A cookie banner is shown the first time you visit the site. No cookie other than the strictly necessary ones runs before you click "Accept". Analytics and advertising storage permissions are set to denied by default and are enabled only with your consent (Google Consent Mode v2). The "Decline" option is offered just as prominently as "Accept".
To change your preference or withdraw your consent, click here — the cookie banner reopens and you can make a new choice. The same option is always available from the "Cookie Preferences" link at the very bottom of the page.
3. Cookies We Use
| Cookie / technology | Type | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (Auth.js) | Strictly necessary | Keeping your membership session open, secure sign-in | Session / 30 days | First party |
| Security cookies (CSRF) | Strictly necessary | Protection against forgery on form submissions | Session | First party |
krnc_cerez (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Remembering your cookie preference | Until you clear it | First party |
| Basket and favourites (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Keeping your basket and favourites on your device | Until you clear it | First party |
| Payment provider cookies (Stripe / Airwallex) | Strictly necessary | Secure operation of the payment form and fraud prevention | Per provider policy | Third party |
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Analytics — consent required | Measuring visitor numbers and browsing behaviour | Up to 2 years | Third party |
Google Ads conversion and remarketing tag (_gcl_*) | Advertising — consent required | Measuring advertising performance and personalising ads | Up to 90 days | Third party |
Note: The products in your basket are not kept in a cookie but in your browser's local storage, and remain only on your own device.
4. Third-Party Cookies and Transfers Abroad
If you consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads process cookie identifiers, device and browsing data on their own infrastructure, and this data may be transferred abroad. Payment provider cookies are strictly necessary for payment security. The data processing practices of these services are subject to their own policies; for the detailed transfer table, see our Privacy Notice.
5. Control via Browser Settings
In addition to the preference screen on the site, you can also refuse or delete cookies from your browser's settings menu. If you block strictly necessary cookies, core functions such as signing in and completing an order may not work properly.
6. Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated when necessary; the current version is always published on this page.
