What Is a Retail License?
A Retail license is the standard license type Microsoft sells to individual users through retail channels. Sold boxed or digitally, it is activated for use on a single computer.
Retail is the consumer-facing one of Microsoft's three main distribution channels (Retail, OEM, Volume). The buyer enters the key personally and the license is registered to that installation.
Activation and usage terms can differ from seller to seller; reading the license-type declaration and terms on the product page before buying is the healthiest approach. At Karınca Lisans, every product states its type and activation terms openly.
